Vancouver Granville Island Wedding. Felisa & Vincent.

May 3, 2010

Brace yourselves, for courtship is alive. In Vincent’s Parisienne heart, in Felisa’s infectious laughter… They met inconspicuously, two engineers working in a dark warehouse. Then the courting  began: first by dark chocolate, then a Thai dinner with coworkers, followed by a phone call. ‘The rest is history,’ they chuckle.

Vincent is a romantic like no other… and hearing all about their proposal took my breath away. Paris? Paris! After a whole day of shopping, cafes, and people watching, they found themselves strolling across Seine River over Pont des Arts bridge towards Vincent’s favourite little square from his school years, Place de Furstenburg. Vin turned to Flea and gently asked: “Will you marry me?” Their faces glistened in the beautiful spring sunshine of Paris.

I was so excited to photograph their wedding – my first spring Vancouver wedding of 2010, just after spending almost two months documenting love in Mexico. It was perfect. And I got to work alongside an incredible team of videographers from Studio Life Inc. – we had a blast and I can’t wait to see what they’ve done with moments from the day! Here are a few of my faves…
