vancouver gastown engagement. stacey + brady.

January 19, 2011

Near the end of our 2010 wedding season Rob and I refined our resolution to attract and book more clients like us. I’m not too sure how to define this exactly, other than … we click, laugh, and magic happens. So it does with Stacy & Brady.

We decided to book the engagement session on New Year’s Eve, while Rob and I were in Vancouver to photograph a wedding (and to escape Edmonton’s snow). The evening felt so festive and special, with Gastown’s Christmas lights still up. It was also such a treat that Stacy & Brady decided to rock classy 50’s-themed outfits, they were like movie stars!!Theย famous Gastown clock on Water St.Here is Rob behind the scenes, illuminating the sparkles in Stacy & Brady’s eyes. I quickly jumped back to get him into the shot ๐Ÿ™‚I can’t wait for their Vancouver Island wedding this June! You guys are amazing. Yes, yes, yes!

There is a photo with Rob holding a portable light source, what is this light source and where can buy it? Thank you so much for all the inspiration!

Thanks Maj! It’s a generic video light with a rechargeable video battery. It lasts forever and is super easy to handle. I would recommend you check amazon or ebay!! we got it at Glazers in Seattle. hope that helps!
