So it’s Christmas Eve! Rob & I made the trip across the island yesterday, to visit family and soak up the awesome vibe of Cabarete, a vibrant Dominican town 6 hours away from Punta Cana. Rob’s French Canadian family have been cooking up a storm of traditional meat pies and turkey (carnivore’s paradise) and we’re just happy to supplement our vegetarian diet with red wine! We’ve been working around the clock to deliver wedding memories to as many of our brides as we can, in time for the Holidays. Not very festive, but … there are waves crashing in the distance and … we have red wine! 🙂 Without further ado, here’s a beautiful wedding of Talayeh & Rich, at Jellyfish Restaurant!
Their amazing day started at Paradisus Punta Cana. I joined Talayeh at her bridal suite while Rob hung out with Rich. We then orchestrated their perfect First Look in the garden area next to Gabi Reserve… love love love.
Talayeh is such a sweetheart. I could picture perfectly how smitten Rich must have been from the moment he first saw her… from her words, ‘We met the Saturday after Thanksgiving ’08 at a Reggae concert in Des Moines, IA. Rich’s friend was wearing a tuxedo with a bow-tie and I made fun of it. Rich says he was checking me out all night and took that as an opportunity to ask me to dance.’
By now, you all know our love for Jellyfish Restaurant – and here’s another great example of how Mayte goes above and beyond … from Talayeh’s instructions to do something ‘turquoise blue with a hit of purple and lime… and oceany stuff.’
Talayeh & Rich, with all our love, Merry Christmas and congratulations on your beautiful wedding! xoxo
Opening champagne will always put you in a festive mood!!
While the girls get ready and anticipation builds, Rob captures Talayeh’s handsome other half, Rich.
My favourite image of Talayeh. Simply stunning.
The most exciting bumpy road, to Jellyfish!!
Strutting down the most special ‘runway’…
I love how the gentle breeze is caressing Talayeh’s face in this one.
90-second photo session of these lovebirds…. couldn’t help myself! 🙂
The NOVA PHOTOBOOTH in action. Always a hit!
The ‘Crazy Show’ is exclusive to Jellyfish and is the best way to get the party started. These capoeira artists made everyone gasp!
Guess what song. Yep, ‘gangnam style’ is right! This phenomenon appears to be the ‘Macarena’ of our time… if not bigger! As far as we’ve seen, it’s pretty much the best thing that’s happened to wedding receptions since alcohol 🙂
The Jellyfish fire show, the best in the Caribbean, is another MUST!
