Pierina & Alfredo are very special and so is their story. From the first time we chatted on Skype, I knew their wedding would be very unique, filled with love and impeccable attention to detail.
They met in university some 8 years ago, when Alfredo was in his last year of engineering and Pierina was in her first year of Pharmacy. The moment Alfredo saw this beautiful girl, he immediately felt this was something different… Alfredo confesses, ‘I sent her an anonymous poem that I wrote on Valentine’s Day and waited almost 1 month to tell her that it was me.’ He finally did, the first time he drove Pierina home and she stepped out of the car. What a romantic!! That’s how everything started.
Alfredo proposed on a trip to Spain. It was a complete surprise – they were surrounded by the natural beauty of La Sierra Nevada mountains with a cold forrest and a lake. They celebrated with wine and Spanish bocatas (bread, prosciutto & cheese). It remains the most romantic memory yet! (perhaps it’s now topped by their honeymoon!)
Pierina & Alfredo put so much of themselves into their wedding, it is just incredible. They spent countless hours pouring their love into ‘arts & crafts’ projects for the wedding and mailed boxes of decorations to Punta Cana from Miami. So impressive!! The unique centrepiece components were in part from a fantastic online store called Luna Bazaar, what a great resource for brides! They also incorporated polaroids into into the wedding reception fun, creating an intricate book of memories and wishes from their loved ones.
We love photographing weddings at Paradisus Palma Real – the wedding coordinators are top notch and the Gabi Beach venue is perfect.
Thank you for trusting us with your Big Day and treating us like family!! We are so honoured to call you friends – and can’t wait for a Miami reunion over wine!!!
Their super unique invitations – a map laying out places special to their journey of falling in love!

Rob & I just couldn’t get enough of the details!
The coolest surprise of the night – Crazy Show! I asked the showman on stilts to throw some confetti my way … it was quite a task for Rob to pick them off me after 🙂 But I got the shot!
They don’t call it the Crazy Show for nothing 🙂
The next morning we met our brave friends for sunrise – although it’s really tough to wake up, it’s always so magical once you’re on the beach. The Rock the Dress (trash the dress) session is one of our faves.
