Flaxee & Tye got married in one of Alberta’s most beautiful mountain settings, Crowsnest Pass. The area is nestled in the Southern Alberta Rockies between the foothills of Pincher Creek and the British Columbia border. Their wedding was magnificent, a true reflection of their unique, artistic and down-to-earth personalities.
We met for their Edmonton engagement session a few weeks before the Big Day and I was so impressed by their light-filled demeanour. Flaxee & Tye’s tender love for each other and the world around them has an almost healing vibe and we can’t wait to witness what they will create together!
Flaxee’s mom Shauna made the bouquets by hand. Amazing.
This incredible B&B in historic Coleman, Alberta is Country Encounters. ( 7701 17th Ave, Crowsnest Pass, Alberta) It feels as if you’re in a museum, but it’s cozy at the same time. Their hosts also catered the wedding!
My favourite portrait of Flaxee. What a beauty.
Crowsnest Pass mountain, the ceremony is about to begin.

Wedding reception at Crowsnest Mountain Resort – Flaxee & Tye, with the help of their family & friends, turned their wedding reception into one of the most unique & creative ones we’ve ever photographed!
Stunning nature. Perfect view of Crowsnest Mountain.

Flaxee & Tye were dreaming about these ribs all day. Even us vegetarians will admit – they smelled sooooo good!
